3D model of planet Earth with high resolution 16k textures. Includes dynamic day / night texture shader and dusk / dawn specular shader. Model is built at 1,000,000:1 scale (1000km=1m) Planet model radius = 6.371 m (Earth radius=6371 km) Textures: ------------ This product was made with a linear work flow with 1 object, 4 layers (Earth, Clouds, Cloud Shadows and Atmosphere), 4 material surfaces and 2 UV maps: With this in mind, some texture maps assignments need specific color-space slots as follows: For EarthHi_UV: surface_name in this case is EarthSurface surface_name_c = color / albedo map: 16384 x 8192, set to sRGB surface_name_n = normal map: 16384 x 8192, set to Linear surface_name_s = specularity: 16384 x 8192, set to sRGB plus EarthLightsHi_c = Luminance / emissive map 16384 x 8192, set to sRGB For Clouds_UV: surface_name in this case is Clouds surface_name_c = color / albedo map: 8192 x 4096, set to sRGB surface_name_alpha = transparency / opacity map: 8192 x 4096, set to Linear Stars background map available for download from supporting items section. File formats: ----------------- - Lightwave (.lwo & .lws) package has all maps applied including atmosphere incidence gradient setup for the Atmosphere layer. Also has Lambert nodal setup for dynamic day / night textures and Blinn nodal setup on specular shading for dynamic sun reflection depending on viewing angle (warmer sunset color when viewed near horizon line). Layout scene file includes rotation animation and 7 camera angles. Cloud Shadows layer added for better control over look of shadows. - All other formats (.obj, .fbx, .3ds) will open with color / albedo map applied, all other textures will need to be assigned.
