Opis
The Fokker D.VII was a German World War I fighter aircraft designed by Reinhold Platz of the Fokker-Flugzeugwerke.
Germany produced around 3,300 D.VII aircraft in the second half of 1918. In service with the Luftstreitkrfte, the D.VII quickly proved itself to be a formidable aircraft.
The Armistice ending the war specifically required Germany to surrender all D.VIIs to the Allies.
Surviving aircraft saw continued widespread service with many other countries in the years after World War I.
Only a handful of original Fokker D7s are left in the world today, preserved in museums around the world.
This D7 is in the markings of Herman Goring an ace with 22 victories. Later he would become the chief of the German Luftwaffe during WW2,second only to Adolf Hitler himself. After the war he was sentenced to death by hanging but cheated the hangman by swallowing a cyanide pill and dying in his cell in 1946
All control surfaces are set at the correct pivot points.
This model is suitable for games and flight simulations.
Textures are 4096 x 4096 with a seperate opacity texture for the louvers on the spandau machineguns.
Does not come with sky or ground textures.
