Opis
Hover vehicles will a common sight in our sky very soon and because of that, we have decided to make an octocopter model that we have proudly called 'The Furious Pigeon' with four electrical impeller engines that turn two rotors each. As with all our models, the Furious Pigeon is built for an average humanoid type model between 160-190 cm tall and is very convenient for all type of animation including POV.
This model is good for presentations, games, cartoons, movies and as a prototype for a real octocopter. :)
The model is more or less logical from an engineering perspective. Almost all the textures are handmade. The model is suitable for any close-up work.
The 3ds Max scene is organized into layers.
All objects in the scene are correctly linked and are linked to the main object, the octocopter itself.
The octocopter has its own detailed, logical and an animatable control system with animatable dials, buttons on the front of the controls and levers behind, that can be used as the throttle or cruise control.
The model has a 500 frame demo animation, just open the file and play it.
The demo animation is created for the ignition system, rotors, some arrows, the control wheel, levers on the controls wheel and pedals.
The rotors have euler XYZ controller for rotation.
The remaining objects have a linear controller.
Some interesting points:
- The pilot seat backrest has 4 sections and can be adjusted for your favorite pilot.
- The pilot seat moves back and forward along rails.
- Openable luggage box.
The ignition key is a separate object and can be removed.
- In case you want to charge the octocopter, the socket is on the back. :)
Objects in the scene do not support additional subdivision (turbosmooth or meshsmooth).
Please put all files into the same folder. Depending on the application and the file format you may need to reassign textures used in materials.
