P-80 F-80 Shooting Star Model 3D

History

The P-80 Shooting Star was built in 1943 during World War II by Lockheed. It did not have a chance to fight during the War but would fight later during the Korean War as the F-80 until replaced by the F-86 Sabre. The P-80 was the first jet to be used operationally by the USAAF.
