Polygons specifications for 0 subdiv: Overall scene without tinsel: 11 714 polygons Tinsel, as is rendered, has 13 856 polygons, but it is a scatter object, so I set Display in Display option to 3% - 2 212 polygons for better feedback. This you can easy change if you wish and also you can easy modify overall look since it is a scatter object.
