Detailed 3D model of Volkswagen's concept electric microbus - the I.D. Buzz with simple untextured interior. _________________________ The native 3ds max 2011 Corona file comes with the ligts turned ON. Lights can be disabled in the material editor by: - disabling self illumination (i.e. front and back VW logos) - swapping CoronaLightMtl with CoronaMtl saved in the Corona Layered material (i.e. headlights and tail lights) The 3ds max 2011 file with MentalRay materials is set up just as the Corona one is, but is not ready for rendering and is intended to be used as a material placeholder for other render engines. In 3ds max 2011 files, elements like the steering wheel, roof sensors and the interior side vents have keyframes set to their 'open' and 'closed' positions. Instanced Turbosmooth is applied to all objects and is set to subdivision 2 for rendering. Subdivision separated by Smoothing Groups. Real world scale in centimeters. _________________________ Polygons and vertices Subdivision level 0: 391,131 polygons 414,721 vertices Subdivision level 1: 1,563,464 polygons 1,610,887 vertices Model is separated into 64 objects. _________________________ 17 PNG textures included. Texture sizes vary from 1024x1024 to 8192x8192. _________________________ FBX and OBJ file information: - model is separated into 48 objects by material name - materials and textures are not applied - subdivision level 0 and 1 versions are included - exported from 3ds max 2011 with Smoothing Groups preserved (check your 3D software if it support this feature when importing) - FBX and OBJ ZIP archives do not include any textures _________________________ Preview image contrast and sharpness has been increased in post processing.
