YERBA MATE INFUSION This set includes a "mate" and a straw. "Mate" is a circular wooden piece empty and dry used to make an infusion of "yerba mate", which is drunk with a metal straw, usually silver or steel. It is a very concentrated infusion, which is prepared by filling one of these "mates" with dry leaves and crushed "yerba mate". You have to pour hot water over it every time you go to sip. In this case, this is a traditional "mate", composed of a piece of wood, covered in stitched leather, with silver details and chrome tripod.
