Descrição
A collection of high quality animated banana plants (yes, they are plants, not trees). The plants come in 5 sizes, each in a version with (version A) and without (version B) bananas making a total of 10 models. The reason there are separate models without bananas is that leaves had to be moved aside to make room for the bananas, leaving a hole if one would just delete the bananas. The leaves are evened out in in the versions without bananas.
The scene has been set up in centimeters, and the highest plant is 330 cm tall, the shortest one is 190 cm tall.
The animation consists of cached animation on the leaves that loop seamlessly over 6 seconds. Please download the video where you can see 4 animation cycles in a row. 6 seconds may seem short, but it is very hard to spot the repetition. With an animated camera it is impossible to notice the repetition. The animation is scalable and suitable for a light to medium winds. It is not meant for storm or hurricane winds.
For non-Maya users there are also Alembic files included. You will have to use the stems and bananas from the OBJ or FBX folders and build your own shaders though.
The stems are textured with 8192x8192 JPG textures for color, normal, gloss and specular color.
The leaves have a double sided shader and are textured with 8192x8192 JPG textures for color, normal, gloss, specular, opacity and a 2048x2048 JPG texture for translucency.
The bananas, stalks and flowers are textured with 4096x4096 textures for color, normal, gloss, specular color and opacity.
