Design: Isamu Noguchi, 1957
Originally designed as part of a push to promote new uses for aluminum, the Noguchi Prismatic table is a stunning example of the harmonious marriage of his sculpture work and furniture design. Consisting of three independent pieces of aluminum joined together, this master-work evokes the Japanese art of origami. This is the first time the prismatic has been put into production and is produced in Germany by Vitra in close collaboration with the Noguchi Foundation.
