Different formats avaiable. Correctly scaled accurate representation of the original object, no additional work needed. Objects are in their own layer. Each item has unique name. No part-name confusion when importing. Smoothable, check images for example. Can be easily smothed (increase the polygon count/level of detail easily) farther by using your program smoothing options like turbosmooth in 3ds max for example.
