SPAD S-XIII V15 Modelo 3D

This SPAD XIII is built with lots of detail on the exterior and a nicely detailed cockpit with controls. It is very near to scale based on actual dimensions. It comes with animateable control surfaces and propeller and nicely detailed cockpit. It is fully textured and comes with almost a dozen different formats. The SPAD XIII was developed from the SPAD VII and XII to meet the higher needs of airmen flying against new German aircraft in 1917 and 1918. It was flown by the Royal Air Service of Britain, French Air Force, US Army Air Corps, and the Belgian Air Force. It was flown by some famous aces including Georges Guynemer, Rene Fonck, Fransesco Baracca, Eddie Rickenbacker and Frank Luke. It was first flown in 1917 and was faster than most of the contemporary fighters but more difficult to fly. It was however very successful and served for many years after the war ended. Over 8900 were built.
