Stug III Modelo 3D

Stug III was one of a series of assault guns/tank destroyers produced by the Germans during the war. Assault guns were easier, cheaper and less time consuming to produce than turreted tanks and that is why German factories built them in large numbers. Cost of a single Ausf G was 82,500 RM making it cheaper than both PzKpfw III Ausf M at 103,163 RM and PzKpfw IV Ausf F2 at 115,962 RM. Four Ausf Gs could be purchased for the cost of single King Tiger. 7893 Ausf ‘G’s were built between December 1942 and March of 1945.The major improvements over it’s predecessors was a new wider fighting compartment, a 360 degree rotating commander’s cupola and the fume extractor was moved to the rear of the fighting compartment.
