Descrição
This Vintage clock has been in my mother's house for quite some time, so i decided to model it, rigged it, and sell it out there for the world to use.
It has been modeled natively in Cinema 4D where i also rigged the lock, the door and the clock itself using Xpresso, and easy to use slider controls. This is why the controls only work if you use the .c4d file. That being said, the way it has been built and organized makes it easy to be manually rigged in different software.
All the edges has been beveled to provide small reflective surface for realistic rendering. The building blocks of the whole clock are mostly simple polygonal shapes that are easy to modify for personal taste (cubes and cylinders).
The textures and materials are also provided, and have been edited in photoshop to provide the best contrast and detail in the rendering process.
To achieve the same result shown in the preview pictures, a basic 2 lights set-up has been used. warm lights split into key light and fill light. 45 degrees from the center of the clock.
A white textured polygon is placed at 45 degrees from the clock to create a reflection on the glass.
If you are using this file to render stills, it's always a good idea to take the final render to photoshop to tighten the color and light range for a crisp result. Adding dust or particles brush around it is also a bonus to give the old worn out effect.
The satisfaction of the buyer is my main concern, so if there are any questions that you would like me to answer, please don't hesitate to ask me.
