Описание
Austria 3D Printable Model
Create stunnning relief models made out of wood, plastic or metal using this model as template!
Austria as printable 3D object, suitable for 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC routing and milling or similar manufacturing methods.
The cartographic projection of the map is Lambert Azimutal Equal Area, with center at longitude 13.3347 and latitude 47.6942.
Size of the model (in dimensionless units):
Length: 14.75
Width: 7.55
Height: 1.0
Volume: 29.51
Triangles: 993826
Vertices: 496915
The model is untextured.
The mountain height is exaggerated in order to make the terrain elevation better visible.
Some manufacturers require the number of triangles to be less than 1,000,000, so we attempted to stay below that limit.
File formats:
3dsMax 2013
Wavefront .obj
Stereolithography .stl
CAD models used for 3D printing, routing or milling must adhere to some specific requirements. Not every model you can find on the market is suitable for this. The model must be solid and watertight, meaning that all surfaces are properly stitched together and no 'leaks' exist. Furthermore the model must be properly manifold and contains no overlaps or intersections.
The country 3D CAD models from AridOcean are specifically made with these requirements in mind.
If the country consists of several pieces (for example islands), the file contains separate entities (usually called 'shells'), but each shell is a solid.
If you notice that you need to make changes to the model, you may contact us via support.
