Landing gear, landing gear doors and propellers are also animateable. A full double row radial engine is modeled in the cowlings and animateable cowling flaps are also modeled. In addition this model comes in a wide variety of formats. The Douglas DC-7 is an American transport aircraft built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1953 to 1958. DC-7C Seven Seas Improved long-range variant with a non-stop transatlantic capability, improved engines and increased fuel capacity mainly in longer wings, 121 were built. It served well into the end of the 20th century. A few are still flying and many are being restored by museums and private owners.
