Anti-ship missile decoy rocket
The American/Australian developed Nulka decoy rocket used to lure RF emitting anti-ship missiles (ASMs) away from the intended target. The rocket follows a preprogrammed path away from the ship, hovering in mid-air, simulating a large target to the ASM.
