The Max format uses mental ray materials and render. There's no need for a third party plugin or anything else, just drop your model in the scene and hit render. Accurate scaled model, units cm. Three main 2048 x 2048 texture maps. Main objects correctly grouped and named, pivot points correctly placed. Object placed at 0,0,0 axis coordinate points. Three 1024 x 1024 main texture maps. Two 2048 x 2048 main texture maps. In order to obtain a render result matching exact the preview images you must disable Gamma/Lut in the Environment and Effect settings.
