Описание
A set of sketching tools, meant to be placed in a studio, in a living room, a bedroom, or, maybe changing the texture of the sketch for a kids room.
Each object is accurate. Brands are invented, drawings are one taken from a free-for-commercial-use source, and 2 are by me.
The file is provided with a simple set of lighting, being ready to reproduce the same result of the thumbnail.
Subdivision modifiers are set in place (OpenSubdiv for 3dsMax; SubdivisionSurface for Blender).
Renders are made with 2 subdivision levels, in Vray/3dsMax.
--- Objects:
Geometry is clean and in all-quads.
9 objects set in a Group (or in a Hierarchy under an Empty controller for Blender), 5 materials.
- Sketches (18 polygons each)
- Cardboard Panel (362 polygons)
- Pencil (918 polygons)
- Pencil sharpener (4686 polygons)
- Pencil shavings (159 polygons)
- Eraser (190 polygons)
- Erasing crumbles (592 polygons)
Shading is controlled by 5 loops per sharp edge and this makes it also subdivision-ready. UV seams are protected from significant stretches in the same way.
NOTE: This model contains poles (more than 5 edges that converge to a single vertex) but they won't affect the shading.
--- Dimension (metric system - centimeters):
To have a proportion:
The sketches are A4, so they're 21x29,7 cm (8,27" x 11,7" in)
The pencil is 12,6 cm long (4,96" in)
Total dimension of this Set: 49x39 cm (19.29" x 15.35")
--- Materials and textures (PBR - png format - 2048x2048):
For Vray: Diffuse, Opacity, Reflection, Glossiness, IoR, Normal map (DX)
For Cycles: BaseColor (with Alpha), Metallic, Roughness, Normal map (OGL).
Textures are made on 2 subdivision levels and require to smooth UV boundaries too, if you port them in other software .
I apology for micro-distortion in 3dsMax (hard to notice) but this is unfortunately how 3ds handles UV subdiv, unless you find plugins that fixes the default behaviour.
Since everything is stored in textures, it will be easier to get a similar result in other software / render engines.
Drawings are easy to replace.
