Mini Saturn - fictional weathered steampunk style planet Saturn, in a space setting. Planet not based on genuine Saturn imagery/representation. Pivot rods individually linking the planet, inner and outer rings in X and Z axis to resemble (and can easily be animated in) a gyroscopic manner. Textures provided (dark wood, weathered metal panels and brass) give the model a steampunk look. ------------------------------------------ Supplied as individual objects: 1 x Mini Saturn A small scale planet Saturn with a weathered appearance. 1 x "Y axis" planet decorative pivot rod 1 x "Z axis" planet decorative pivot rod, linking to the planet inner-ring 1 x "X axis" decorative pivot rod, linking inner and outer rings. 1 x Saturn "inner ring" 1 x Saturn "outer ring" 1 x Space sphere Surrounding sphere/background - mapped with a fictional space/night sky texture. ------------------------------------------ Excluding space sphere background, the planet and its rings dimensions (Maya sourced/cm's): 1158 x 367 x 1158 (xyz) ------------------------------------------ Example external lighting supplied in native Maya formats only. Native Maya formats only are rigged with the following simple controls: a) World (move/scale/rotate) b) Aim (Y axis) c) Inner ring Z-only rotate d) Outer ring X-only rotate No cameras in supplied scene. ------------------------------------------ Maya formats provides 2014 and 2016 variations, with ASCII and binary for both. Standard Maya materials (good for all standard issue Maya renderers incl. mental ray). FBX format includes both ASCII and binary in 2014 and 2016 variations. Maya 2014, Maya 2016, 3ds Max 2016 and Blender 2.7a used for import testing of the applicable FBX and OBJ variations. ------------------------------------------ UV's are unwrapped/not overlapping (no import issues for Mudbox 2016). Maps supplied vary from 2k to 4k,all PNG's and are included in with each of the formats available. Map filenames denote their associated object and the map type. OBJ format may. in some circumstances, require materials and/or textures to be reassigned to the appropriate objects.
