In Cinema 4d everything is parametric, so you can easily adjust the objects according to your needs. FBX and obj files are excellent for arranging and editing objects in polygon mode, so there is no problem with your 3d applications such as Maya, 3ds max, blender, unity, unreal, c4d etc. Everything is properly grouped, layered, named and UV unwrapped (except for c4d, which is using UV mapping) with properly applied materials/ shaders and textures.
