FOR FILE CONVERSION ASK SUPPORT Design Mario Botta, 2002 Mario Botta had been working on designing a flower vase for Alessi since 1994, exploring an area that probed the borders of craft work, art and design. Between 2001 and 2002 he concentrated on the design of a stainless steel vase with forms inspired by nature: an abstract and linear trunk of a cut tree, with its branches. Tronco, meaning 'log' in Italian is Botta's creation and is offered in mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel. ~ Modeled and rendered with 3ds Max 9 / v-ray, V-ray scene requires V-ray plugin, the Scanline scene requires no plugins. ~ 3ds Max 9 is the native file ~ High quality modeling, detailed, excellent for closeups, and architectural visualization. ~ Model is scaled to real world. ~ Added 3ds Max 9 format with vray materials, and with standard materials for Default Scanline Render. ~ The rendering scene you see in the second image is not included. ~ Materials are named logical. ~ Model does not need textures. ~ Objects in the files are named logical. ~ 3ds Max files are with smooth (subdivision) level 2. ~ Smooth Level 0: Polys: 1116 (72 tris), Verts: 1084 ~ Smooth Level 1: Polys: 4392, Verts: 4396 ~ Smooth Level 2: Polys: 17568, Verts: 17572
