CLASSICAL TEMPLE The model consists of a domed temple in the classical style. The structure is sometimes known as a Monopteros and is typically found in parks or ornamental gardens. This detailed model has been created in 3ds Max 2012 and uses the mental ray renderer. The scene contains five cameras which have been used to produce the published preview images. Everything you see in the preview renders is included in the product. All the scene objects have been organised into hierarchical groups. All objects are editable polygons and have been cleanly modelled. The scene is made up of 97% quads and 3% tris. There are no ngons. In real world dimensions the fountain has a 6.0m diameter and is 6.1m high. The columns are styled in the Ionic order. The dome features detailing on both the inside and outside. All objects are textured. Four textures are used in all. The textures use mental ray's shaders and templates. Six custom images are used in the textures to produce three different stone materials. Each has a diffuse and bump image. The sizes are 2048 x 2048, 1024 x 1024 and 512 x 512. No sub-division modifiers are applied to the objects in the model but all geometry is sub-dividable. All the preview renders were produced on a Windows 7 PC with 4gb ram.
