A more simplistic lightsaber. It is pretty much based around Luke's Lightsaber, but it is not identical. The materials for the saber are created using procedural style rather than UV unwrapping and using an image, and uses the Cycles rendering engine. The weapon is "new", meaning that it has no scratches or dents. It has slightly different material properties depending on how to lights bounce off of it. IE: Some surfaces are more reflective than others. I tried to keep the polycount as low as I could while still getting the detail I was looking for. A subdivision level of two looks the best to me in blender. Importing into your scene. Open your blender scene.
