You should use little to no blur on diffuse map. You may need to reapply maps to fbx and obj model. Just select - apply. Better to place fbx file inside max folder. Fbx is rigged and fully animated but animating is limited; does not contain fur. Obj file only has mesh and mapping coordinates (you need to select and apply the texture map).
