This is a large, detailed pipeline scene with pumping station, reservoirs, technicians with truck, and surrounding tundra terrain. Modeled using reference photos of the Keystone pipeline, arctic and desert pipeline systems, and tundra terrain, this is an excellent model set to represent pipeline transport systems for oil, natural gas, water, etc. All assemblies have been created in modular fashion for easy reconfiguration. This pairs well with our refinery model by 3DConco item 704257 on Turbosquid. Includes main pipeline assemblies with both hollow and solid components (if not depicting pipeline internals when setting up additional pipeline structure, just use solid versions to reduce polygon count). Also included are liquid and gas reservoirs, subordinate transfer pipe systems with control valves, pump houses, cement retention walls, chain link fencing, surrounding plant life billboards, as well as utility trucks and detailed human worker models that use overlapping ball-joints for easy posing and manipulation of limbs (right down to individual finger joints) without the need for character rigging. This scene has been modeled for a balance between polygon efficiency and good 3D detail at close range. Nearly all objects in the scene are texture mapped with a combination of specific and seamless textures. Color maps as well as bump maps for most objects are included. Most of the maps are 1024x1024 pixels, with some 2048x2048 used on buildings and large surfaces. All have been manually UV mapped and adjusted for good fit with minimized stretching. Nearly all texture maps have been generated from photographs of various industrial surfaces. Seamless, corroded metal maps have been used on some surfaces for added realism in addition to clean painted surface maps and clean metal maps. Lights are included (.max file only). Modeled to proper scale in meters.
