Polygon is an armchair whose armrests are based on the modernist typology of a seat of modest dimensions. It fulfils the functional parameters but does not usurp spaces that are susceptible to bulk and immobility. Each change in perspective transforms the triangles that define the orthogonal side view of the armchair, into hexagons and other complex polygons. The end result is a product which seems familiar, even a little old-fashioned, yet is simultaneously distinctly modern. The bent steel rod construction further accentuates Polygons duality.
