This is a very accurate model, all the important bits are measured to .001" accuracy, ie the bolt hole spacing, overall diameter etc. Some parts that were hard to measure were eyeballed and estimated but should be quite close tolerances regardless. This was modeled in real time using my real car rim, not from pictures off the net. Unfortunately, due to the high amount of patterning, I was only able to detail one sidewall as there were stability issues.......but shouldn't be an issue in render scenes. Ever wondered what you car would look with these rims? just import a picture of your car as a back plate and voila! Modeled with Solidworks 2012 and rendered with Keyshot 4.1 all images are HD very high quality 5Kpixles! Files include .sldprt, .IGS, .step, .stl. Everything is there for you modify the tire to a different brand, resize it etc. all the work is already done, just use the sketches in the .sldprt file! Also, the .IGS file will unpack the following subparts: tirevalve tirevalvecap rim tire I've also included a texture map for the sidewall ribbed texture, just apply it as a "color" within keyshot.
