Model of a flag on a rope on a pole with a vane connected to it too.
It is a complex structure that uses cloth dynamics and spline dynamics. Connections have been programmed ( or how does one call that ) in Xpresso. The wind direction and strength influences everything in the scene and can easily be adapted to get the animation you want.
