The upper part of the fighting compartment folded down to allow 360-degree traverse at low elevation. It’s main weakness was inadequate firepower. 150 were initially ordered but only 141 Flakpanzer 38(t)s were built. The majority of the Flakpanzer 38(t)s fought on the western front.
