Metal statue of Ganesha, the best known deva of the Hindu pantheon. Apparently the rat at his feet appeared from the 7th century, there is a lot of speculation of what it means. The best i found is that the rat symbolizes the human, and Ganesha takes away obstacles and strenghtens the human. Used 249 photos of the object in a phototent and continuous box-lighting setup. Did a lot of sculpting and some texture painting within Blender; the surface was pretty rough because of the reflections. The Model shown has a 4K textureset (Basecolor/Albedo, Metallic, Roughness- and Normal map). The Normalmap was baked from the highpoly model after sculpting. Metal- and Roughness map were created with Substance B2M. The original 8K texture is also included, as well as a 2K textureset, which will be just as good in most situations (check the 2K/4K comparison render in the previews).
