Hungry Hungry Hippos game. All parts are 4 and a few 3-point polys and sub-D'd smoothed. All parts have thickness. Basic surfaces are set up, and the google eyes decal is included but not surfaced. Basic set driven key with limiting is set up on each hippo, so rotating the hippo lever down extends the neck and head, and makes the head rotate up and chomp down. Little white balls not included. The black levers that pop a player's ball back into the ring is also set up and limited. All levers have unused channels locked off. The downside of the animation setup is that the head/mouth pops up also when the lever is rotated back in position. If you search for the original Hungry Hungry Hippos TV commercial, you will see the original action is actually a ratchet, with the head popping up upon extension, but STAYING down on retraction, in order to pull the white ball into the hippo body. I could find no way to do this automatically. So when you animate this model, if you want it to appear to operate correctly, you will have to manually animate each section - lever, neck and head - separately and manually.
