Here's a model of sci fi hunter spaceship named Orion 1. Each presentation image of model is as-is, no photoshop is used for post-process, the product is ready to render out-of-the-box satisfactorily. The images before the wireframe are MAX 2014 V-Ray renderings with V-Ray Lens Effects activated. Others are MAX 2011 Mental Ray renderings. This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film close-ups, advertising, design visualization, forensic presentation, etc Please find the maps zipped and archived with every file. There are 3 texture maps: orion_diff.PSD (4096x2048px) orion_bump.TIF (4096x2048px) exhaust.PSD (2048x2048) Background is not included. Files other than MAX and FBX format are without turbosmooth/subdivision modifier. It has to be put and adjusted accordingly for hires rendering purposes. For other formats, maps should be put in a folder of which path is determined by the 3d software and materials should be post-adjusted to get the same or near results in renderings. There are two MAX 2011 versions. One is with V-Ray renderer, V-Ray materials and V-Ray lights, other is with Mental Ray renderer, standard materials and standard lights. All MAX versions are with Motion Blur effect that can be easily removed from Effects tab at Environment and Effects dialogue. To remove Fire Effect and Volume Fog, refer to Atmosphere part of Environment tab at the same dialogue. All file formats contain identical geometry and materials as seen above with clean and accurate construction (see wire frames above). All details have been fully modeled out. All the model parts and materials are named custom. All the turbines are animated and all the parts movable have their gizmos in their correct places to get quickest results for animation. All parts linked correctly having the right hierarchy. SPACESHIP BODY MAIN is the main parent. To adjust the movable parts the group SSS SPACESHIP ORION must be opened first. Dimensions are in centimeters: Height is 38 m Width is 67 m Depth is 22 m There are 3 textures: orion_diff.PSD (4096x2048px) orion_bump.TIF (4096x2048px) exhaust.PSD (2048x2048) The PSD layers are also named custom. The calligraphy lettering on the main body texture map (orion_diff.PSD) is separate layer so that it can be deleted for preparing other letter else it is written "Solar Seas Industry" in Chinese classic letters. For easily merging and turbosmoothing, the spaceship model is grouped with a name as 'SSS SPACESHIP ORION'. With i7 3.2 ghz 16gb ram machine, it took 41 minutes for V-Ray rendering 1200x1200px 36 framed turntable animation.
