Description

According to FAA Regulations, any flying Rotorcraft or aircraft must have a compass. You"d better not forget it... But hey I got one right here. Ready for render, just mount it up and spin the blades. Screws, textures and everything. It is a product of a company called Airpath. It is built to design specification, The diameter of the compass body itself is 2.25 inches,(the cylindrical housing that holds the spinning disk). That should give you a sense of scale. It is mainly used on small, light aircraft, buit many larger aircraft have one also as a backup. The directional gyro inside has its pivot about the centroid so rotation animations should be vry easy to do.
