Description
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is a High Definition 3D model of the Apollo Command Module that made nine trips to the moon and two in earth orbit.
Modeled with precision using detailed 1:48 scale blueprints and extensive photographic research spanning nearly a year.
High resolution texture and bump maps depict all decals, rivets, panel lines and the highly reflective mylar tape used on the CM for insulation.
The first manned flights of the CM (Apollo 7 and 8) carried neither the docking ring and probe or EVA handles. Subsequent spacecraft carried all this hardware.
