Description

FOR FILE CONVERSION ASK SUPPORT ************************************************************************************************************************ Design: Eero Aarnio, 1968 Eero Aarnio said about the Bubble Chair: "After I had made the Ball Chair I wanted to have light inside it and so I had the idea of a transparent ball where light comes from all directions. The only suitable material is acrylic which is heated and blown into shape like a soap bubble. Since I knew that dome-shaped skylights were made in this way I contacted the manufacturer and asked if it would be technically possible to blow a bubble that is bigger than a hemisphere. The answer was yes. So, I had a steel ring made, the bubble was blown and when the cushions were added the chair was ready, and the name was obvious: "bubble." ************************************************************************************************************************ ~ Modeled and rendered with 3ds Max 9 / V-Ray, V-Ray scene requires V-Ray plugin, the Scanline scene requires no plugins. ~ 3ds Max 9 is the native file ~ High quality modeling that is detailed, excellent for closeups, and architectural visualization. ~ Model is scaled to real world. ~ Added 3ds Max 9 format with V-Ray materials, and with standard materials for Default Scanline Renderer. ~ The rendering scene you see in the second image is not included. ~ Materials are named logically. ~ In 3ds Max files textile material color is fallof color, so easily can be changed to any other color. ~ Objects in the files are named logically. ~ Model does not need textures. ~ 3ds Max files are with smooth (subdivision) level 1. ~ All other files where saved at 2 smooth levels. ~ The model has quads and tris only. ~ Smooth Level 0: Polys: 13755 (86 tris), Verts: 13925 ~ Smooth Level 1: Polys: 55934, Verts: 55342 ************************************************************************************************************************ Please submit a rating :) (+) feedback helps me to improve my library Thank you! ************************************************************************************************************************
