Description
This green and yellow animated budgerigar comes with a flapping wing animation. All body parts are rigged except for the eyes. The legs are not animated, but they are already rigged in case you want to animate them, such as perching or waddling on a flat surface. The beak also opens and closes.
The bird's wing bone structure is very similar to that of a real bird, with the exception of an additional bone on the edge of each wing, intended for when the bird opens the wing to the fullest span, so movement of this bone can curve the wingtip to actually add to realism, as many birds wingtips tend to jut out at a somewhat offset angle during flight.
This parakeet also has toes and toenails which I box-modeled and smoothed for best effect. You will find that the toenails are treated as part of the foot, since toenails cannot moe voluntarily. Also, the parakeet has a cere, which is a parrot's nose, and is set to blue which means male, but the color is a shade overlaped over the texture of the female (brown) cere, and can be easily removed if you want the parakeet to become a hen.
