This model is a Cessna C150 Commuter single engine high-wing monoplane two seat aircraft. It was built with a good level of exterior detail. It has many animateable features including ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propeller. It has seating and basic controls to allow shots from distance to look more realistic. The Cessna C150 Aerobat was designed as an aerobatic version of the Commuter having a larger engine (110 ho 4 cylinder continental) and a reinforced tail. It was still an excellent personal two-seat aircraft and trainer. It was also inexpensive to operate and an excellent trainer and air taxi. The Aerobat was the introductory aerobatics airplane for many pilots including myself well into the 1990s. The Aerobat has been operational around the world with over 734 Aerobats being built from 1959 1977.
