Description
de Havilland Tiger Moth 1930s biplane
I modeled this aircraft to real world scale from blueprints and 100's of reference pictures to be as historically accurate as possible. The instruments in the cockpit is also the most common configuration for this model.
The entire model can be subdivided with clean edge-flow without any deformation or quality loss on even the smallest components.
I include separately as well as in a photoshop layered file the following textures:
-Color/Defuse Map
-Occlusion Map
-Dirt Map
-Wireframe overlay
The texture resolutions are:
- 4096x4096 pixels for the main body texture, dirt and ambient occlusion maps
- 512x512 pixels for the instrument texture
- 1024x2048 for wood texture
In the photoshop file, the color of the aircraft as well as the country flags and markings is on separate layers so it could easily be changed. The occlusion and dirt map can also just be muted if you with to render your own.
The renderer used for preview images is V-Ray but this is not included in the model files, so if you don't have V-Ray the files should open without any problems.
This aircraft is close to my heart since I flew in one once for my birthday :)
Hope you enjoy the model and its useful to you.
