Description
This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. The model is fully textured and comes with all materials and textures. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and turbines. The model is available in several different formats for immediate downloading here. We are providing the DC-9-20 model in a range of liveries.
The series 40 (DC-9-40 was a lengthened version of the DC-9-30 with 66 added to the center fuselage. This version carried up to 125 passengers. It was powered by 2 Pratt and Whitney JT8D-15 or JT8D-17 engines providing 16000 or 16500 pounds thrust each. These were delivered beginning 1968 the first going to SAS.
