Description

A Dyson sphere is a hypothetical megastructure that completely encompasses a star and captures a large percentage of its power output. The variant closest to Dyson's original conception is the "Dyson swarm". It consists of a large number of independent constructs (usually solar power satellites and space habitats) orbiting in a dense formation around the star. Source: Wikipedia This Dyson swarm is a variant of this product: 1369090 To review, please search for above Product ID in Turbosquid search bar. Clean quad based topology. Scene objects are organized by layers / groups. Objects and materials are named appropriately. Materials are easy to adjust. All solar panels have identical, properly named and organized sub object IDs. There are three of them in total ( Golden Foil, Metallic parts and Mirror ) So you're able to adjust material of solar panel parts with only one material / shader. This is also possible when you import the OBJ or FBX formats into your scene. Each solar panel is one mesh. There are 1899 solar panels in the scene so you're able to animate them or even adjust their formation. Star is simply an sphere with Quad topology. Star is Unwrapped - Solar panels are UV mapped. Dimension: ~128 cm x ~128 cm x ~50 cm Due to astronomical scale, scene simply fits in default grid. You're be able to resize the model based on scaling of your scene. This model uses a scale of 1 unit = 1 Centimeter Other than VRay, no other plugin is used for Max scene. FBX & OBJ formats along with texture maps are included so you can import the model into any 3d packages. Of Course you'll need to reassign the textures and create / modify the shaders if you plan to use OBJ & FBX instead of ready to render Max scene. Except background stars, textures are created procedurally ( then exported and used as PNG images ). Included Texture Maps: Sun.png 8192 x 8192 - 16bit Background stars.jpg 6000 x 4000 - 8bit Solarpanel Set:4096 x 4096 - 16bit Solarpanel_Diffuse.png Solarpanel_Glossiness.png Solarpanel_ior.png Solarpanel_Normal.png Solarpanel_Reflection.png
