Description
Very detailed high poly 3d models of eighteen lolium perenne plants with photoreal materials.
(Lolium perenne, common name perennial ryegrass or English ryegrass or winter ryegrass, is a grass from the family Poaceae. It is native to Europe, Asia and northern Africa, but is widely cultivated and naturalised around the world. Perennial ryegrass can be grown as a permanent home lawn in the US. In Britain, it is also used as a bottom layer of non-species rich grassland. Selected seed mixes are used extensively for sports pitches, especially winter sports in temperate climates.)
All models are detailed enough for your close-up renders. Usually artists represent grass as an array of separate small stalks, but real lawn consists of grass bunchs with multilevel structure including roots, sprouts and leaves. To make my models more realistic I tried to copy morphology of a real grass.
I use real world units (centimeters). All grass bunch models are about 20 cm high. But they are pretty good scaleable, and will look absolutely real even if you scale them to 50% or to 150%.
All models are united in one group. You can use them as a ready picturesque set or divide into separate plants.
There are two Max2011 files: one with standard mat and another with photoreal V-ray mat. Also standard materials are used in FBX, OBJ and 3DS files. All necessary textures are in each archive.
Preview images and turntables were rendered with V-Ray adv 2.00.02.
ATTENTION: example scenes are not included in product pack.
