Description
For building fantasy cityscapes.
House modells height: 16ft 5m
Textures: 512 x 512
diffuse/color, specular, normal maps and bump in BMP format
Tiled grass color texture seen on the thumbnails: 1600 x 1256
Seven versions of the main color texture plus normal bump and specular.
Added a realistic, desaturated color version. Achieved by a non-destructible color correction shader to all diffuse textures: you can find it in City_Kit_Max2009_MentalRay_Realistic_colors.max
Thumbnails were rendered in Max 2009 with Mental Ray: WYSWYG = What You See What You Get
No pictures were modified in photoshop.
You can create a cityscape for CGI or videogame engines using two UV-channels for lightmapping or layered textures in Maya.
---------------------------------
All models have two UV channels in FBX, DAE and MAX formats:
UV Channel 1 is used for textures with overlapping UVs
UV Channel 2 is used for lightmapping or layering and has non-overlapping UVs. Texture space is maximized, UVs are packed tight.
---------------------------------
Polygon and vertex count of named objects in the scenes:
1. house_corner: 1190 tris, 798 verts.
2. house_three: 1507 tris, 976 verts.
3. house_two: 657 tris, 426 verts
4. house_one_half: 266 tris, 175 verts
5. ruined_house_corner: 1007 tris, 688 verts
6. ruined_house_three: 1221 tris, 800 verts
7. ruined_house_two: 630 tris, 437 verts
