Description
The Go game (Weiqi/Baduk) has its roots in Asia and is thought to be the oldest board game, created approximately 4000 years ago.
It is calculated that there are more possible games than atoms in the observable universe.
This scene recreates a traditional Go game set in Asian interior. Perfect add for Asian interiors, product visualisation, advertisements or personal projects. The Go set is modeled in real world scale (cm). I have used only natural and PBR materials for the texturing process.
The scene consists of:
-Go Set (Goban, bowls, black and white stones)
-Wooden displays with rice paper
-Traditional chairs with pillows for the Go players
-Wooden floor with battens
All objects and materials are named and ordered in groups correctly. Each archive consists of the scene/file format + textures.
For your convinience, I have included textures for various renderers (V-ray, Arnold), this caused the archives to be larger in size. Textures example that you will find in each archive:

The scene is ready for rendering:
-Render ready scene in 3ds Max Vray (the 2nd and 3rd thumbnail pictures are rendered with vray 3.30.05) with lights and cameras. If the Max scene opens with too intensive light, lower the multiplier of vrayLlight001 to 1
-Render ready scene in Marmoset Toolbag 2 (or higher) with lights and cameras (thumbnail images rendered with this renderer have watermarks).
-Render ready in Substance Painter 2 or higher (the 1st thumbnail image is rendered in Substance Painter's PBR renderer - iray)
-Autodesk Maya - The Maya scene (.mb) is with applied textures using stringraypbs material (avilable in Maya 2015 and above),
please note, stingraypbs materials can only be rendered in the viewport 2.0. If you use Arnold renderer for Maya, I have included Arnold textures.
