Description
A gyroid is an infinitely connected triply periodic minimal surface discovered by Alan Schoen in 1970. This pack contans most of the major types of Gyroid surfaces, including several Isosurfaces that can only be created with mathematical formula. All models consist of logical quad-based polygons, perfect for subdivision or 3d printing. The models are available as .obj files, which can be imported into applications such as Blender or anything which supports the .obj file type. All models are UV Unwrapped, and can accept any seamless, tileable texture or material. This set is perfect to use as interesting architectural props or abstract sculptural geometry in any scene. The models can also be exported as STL for use in 3d printing.
