Wegner, with his unique understanding of wood, its possibilities and limitations, created many designs each with its own personality yet in a consistent language. CH316 is a beautiful example of Wegner"s experiments: simple, elegant and equally attactive as a dining or conference table. The table tops are made from continuous sections of solid wood running the entire length of the table. This solution, compared to full-width sections, reveals more of the wood"s structure, results in a more harmonious surface, and is considerably more difficult to produce.
