Description

Hayabusa (, literally "Peregrine Falcon") was an unmanned spacecraft developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to return a sample of material from a small near-Earth asteroid named 25143 Itokawa to Earth for further analysis. Hayabusa, formerly known as MUSES-C for Mu Space Engineering Spacecraft C, was launched on 9 May 2003 and rendezvoused with Itokawa in mid-September 2005. (Source Wikipedia) A highly-detailed and accurate model of the Hayabusa Satellite (MUSES-C), this model was created in 3D Studio Max 2016 with Vray 3.60.03 and a basic setup is included in the scene. Some of the preview renders were captured from Substance Painter where the materials were created. The model is setup with Vray materials that end up in a multi-sub-material, all uniquely unwrapped for best resolution and flexibility. Textures are 4K resolution per piece, featuring Diffuse, Glossiness, Height, IOR, Normal and Reflection. Exports of FBX, ABC and OBJ are also included, as well as a quick render sequence.
