Description
The Heinkel He.111 was a German bomber from the Luftwaffe used on many fronts in Europe during the WWII. This model is a historical re-enactment of the coded 5J+DM aircraft and commanded by the General Wever. This plane was integrated in the KG (Kampfgeschwader) 4 unit group. It was based in Eindhoven in Netherlands and it was in service in 1940. This He.111 was used for night raids to Britain. The aircraft was shot down by 23 Sqn, RAF at Clay, Norfolk on night of Wednesday, 19th June 1940.
