Description

A basic kit of icicle components to place on a roof or window edge, or any other flat surface. (This kit can be used in conjunction with "Icicle Kit 20-Degree" models.) There are seventeen (17) icicle segments in this kit, along with a long wooden beam for reference purposes. The pieces include - - five different segments of 11 iclcles, enough to lay along a long roof line and provide natural-seeming variation, - two different segments of six (6) icicles each, these are highly variable and will force a larger amount of variation if needed, - five individual icicles of different lengths and shapes, -five "stubs" that are the kind of slightly misshapen icicles that occur at roof and window edge intersections. The various segments can be combined, re-scaled, rotated and cloned to provide a lot of variation across a window or roof or other edge. The MAX version makes use of V-Ray materials, and the Vue version makes use of slightly customized Vue glass materials. The Maya and *.obj versions emply a semi-transparent blue material for the ice. You should replace this with a material suitable for your rendering engine. The wooden beam is UV mapped with a seamless texture, and is provided here primarily for reference purposes. But you could easily frame a close-up scene with it.
