The Kamaz-43269, also known as BMP-97 (BPM-97) or Vystrel 'Shot', is a 4x4, multi-purpose, high mobility tactical armored vehicle developed by Kamaz as a replacement for BTR-80 armored vehicles within the Russian Federation Armed Forces.
The BPM-97 was developed by Russia-based ompany Kamaz (Kamskiy Avtomobilny Zavod) for the Russian Army and security forces. It is a cost-effective multi-purpose armored vehicle, which is appropriate for patrol and escort missions.
The Kord-12.7 mm heavy machine gun is a Russian design that entered service in 1998 replacing the older NSV machine gun.
