M16 3D Model

This is a very HIGH poly M16 that I created in about 3 months. I Painstakingly modeled almost every single part of this gun. Screws, bolts, pins you name it, I tried to modeled it from the actual gun, which a friend owns and let me reference. Now I made this for two reasons. 1: it looks cool! 2: To use as a base to model a game weapon over it. -The intent is to create a M16 as real as can be then model the same weapon over the super high poly model- Hence creating a much lower poly M16 that could be used in most game engines. Now the High poly high detailed model can also be used to create the NORMAL MAP for the “game ready” model. I haven’t started making the game ready one yet but will do in the future. Anyhow enjoy
